Student Ministry

The theme verse for our LBC Student Ministry is Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” and our Motto is “Training the next generation of Christian Warriors to KNOW, LOVE, and SERVE Him!” Christian families, it is our sole aim in the Student Ministry to come along side YOU and help train YOUR students 18 months-12th grade to first, KNOW Christ through a personal relationship with Him, second, to LOVE Christ by learning to LOVE His Word, and third, to SERVE Christ using the instruction taught from the Word of God and the example set by our leaders as a guide! It brings us no greater joy than to see students of all ages repent of their sins and trust in Jesus’ sufficient sacrifice for them on the Cross as a full payment for their unpayable sin debt that deserves Hell! We hope and pray that each family that the Lord brings our way will lock arms and hearts with us and be firmly committed and deeply rooted in God’s Word and Fully Committed to God’s Church! We heavily rely on many volunteers to teach, lead, and help with many different classes and functions throughout the year. Some of these ministries include Nursery, Adventure Club, Vacation Bible School, Student Choir, Fall Festival, Resurrection Celebration, Lock-ins, miscellaneous parties and gatherings throughout the year, Youth Group, LBC Kids, and many more! Please contact Josh or Mary Bowman if you have any questions about this ministry or are interested in joining us!

Student Missions

Most churches have a focus on missions that is geared primarily towards adults, but not at Liberty. We believe we can train ALL students how to live “on Mission”! We do this by providing them a strong foundation through the instruction of God’s Word and then planning varies ministry opportunities both near and far that are designed to teach them how to step out of their comfort zone and be missionaries for Jesus Christ! Our goal through this ministry is that what was once “uncomfortable”, like sharing the Gospel, will become “comfortable”! We want our students to know that at the moment that God birth’s salvation in them He expects them to become His workman and little evangelist in this lost and dying world! We rely on volunteers to help facilitate local mission opportunities and to load up and go with us to the “not so local” places! This year we are partnering up with Impact Ministries in Myrtle Beach South Carolina for our mission trip. For more information about student missions please reach out to Josh or Mary Bowman
