Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study

We are currently doing an exciting study on the book “Isaiah” by John MacArthur. In this study we see Israel as a divided kingdom due to rebellion against God. Isaiah was called to prophesy during this dark period of history, as the Northern Kingdom of Israel had fallen to the Assyrians and the people were taken into captivity. The Southern kingdom, known as Judah, was on the same path toward God’s judgement if they did not repent and return to the Lord. The Lord commissioned Isaiah to preach His Word to His people-to condemn their empty ritualism and turn their hearts back to Him. In the process, God used Isaiah to reveal His mercy, grace, and faithfulness, and point to the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ. In this study, we will learn valuable lessons about trusting in God’s Word. God is both Judge and Savior, and He is always on His throne!
